A week ago we wrote about production terms in PGWEAR Customs. The second question asked most frequently is, ”How much is an item going to be?”. We always need a design in order to answer this question. We do not use standard list prices as each item is different and requires an individual attitude. However, we can define which factors have the greatest influence on valuation:
– amount of goods ordered – along with an order increase, price per item decreases,
– influence of a number of colours used in the design on the costs of screen printing. For example, eight printing patterns have to be used to perform 7-colour prints, in case of one-colour prints you need only two patterns. The price depends also on a print size– the price varies in case of A4 and A3 overprints,
– in case of embroidery, the price depends on a number of seams necessary to create a certain project,
-in case of clothing that we make from scratch, the price depends on types of materials and cuts used in manufacture. For example, the price of a simple knitted crewneck sweatshirt sewn with cotton, weight of which is 280 grams differs from a complex hoodie sweatshirt with a zip, a few pockets and sewn with cotton, weight of which is 380 grams.
-if you decide on ready-to-wear items imported, their price will depend on a manufacturer of a certain item. We cooperate with all the largest promotional clothing manufacturers such as: Fruit of the Loom, SOL’s, B&C, Gildan, etc.
Contacting us on clothing manufacture, you are always provided with a professional assistance. Any change that does not affect a final item design or even improves it, can often decrease the manufacture cost a lot.
